Hey all beauties, so I am back with another face mask from Lush. Ohh yes.. I am just too addicted to this brand, and let me tell you now itself, 3 more reviews are gonna come up from Lush itself [J]. This is one such brand from which I just don’t skip. And when it comes to skin care I am just too specific. My skin care hauls are much bigger than the makeup hauls.
So it happened that while asking for a face mask to lift up the skin, I also asked the SA to give me something which will impart radiance to my skin. I wanted some kind of a glow. Also there was bit of tan on my face which I wanted to get rid of. She suggested me Ayesha Face Mask.
She mentioned to me that the face mask helps in smoothening and tightening of the skin and also leaves a radiant skin. This being a Lush facemask, had all the natural ingredients. Well when I went through the list I found it quite easy mask which can be made up at home, however I am just too lazy to pick so much of stuff and make these masks. I better just buy one [:P].
Price : $6.95 for 60g [approx. Rs 417/-]
About Lush: Lush believes in making effective products from fresh organic fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics.
The face mask comes in a regular black colored tub with screw style lid; this tub is recyclable as well. The mask is in brownish color and smells a lot a clay cum fruity. The main ingredients of the facemask are tightening clays, kiwi and asparagus. This I found a bit more innovative, since I never thought of applying asparagus to my face. The mask was smooth in texture and we have to scoop it out with hands or a spoon. It had to be used within 20 days, which means the shelf life is really less. You need to refrigerate this facemask to maintain its freshness; actually this is one of the basic rules with all the fresh facemasks from Lush.
You need to apply this mask all over your face, and once its dried after 5-10 mins [15 mins approx. in my case] you should wash it with warm water. After washing the facemask I didn’t use any facewash. I found my skin has brightened up immediately, but the effect is temporary. One has to use this mask regularly to maintain the brightened up skin. Also I didn’t find any spot reduction on my overall skin of face.
Apart from moisturizing and imparting radiance to the skin, I didn’t find anything useful about this mask. But I would like to mention that the skin feels nourished after usage of Ayesha face mask from Lush.

IGB Rating: 3/5
I am overall just okay with the facemask, I would rather try the other types as well. I would pick this up for a quick brightened skin though when I am in hurry to go out.
