Back to Blogging and New Haul from THE ORDINARY

Hey everyone, I know I have been MIA for a super long time now. It’s been a year since I wrote my last blog post. Well I had to move to another state in USA and then I had different work commitments, so I just couldn’t keep up with my writing. Also I have been more focused on my weight loss, diet, exercise and overall health development throughout the year. That being said, I would also like to let you know that I would be starting a new topic on weight loss and healthy lifestyle in my Lifestyle Section of this blog.

The Ordinary Skincare

My 2018 resolutions are super basic but they are going to be driven by patience and determination. I will be making sure to take good care of my skin, stick to skin care routines, not buying excessively more skin care products [since I end up wasting some of them], working out regularly, eating healthy but happily indulging once in a while, and trying not to lead a stressful life. I have also decided to study few courses for my job as well as some related to nutrition, but that’s something which will need a lot of time.

About The Ordinary Skincare

As one of my resolutions do say that I would be taking a good care of my skin this year and try and improve its texture, I did a haul from THE ORDINARY. The internet has almost been broken with this new brand having range of products for improvising skin texture while being super affordable. I was able to pick some of their products through an online store called Beautylish. You can also find them on Sephora, ASOS, TheOrdinary.

THE ORDINARY carries variety of products using effective clinical technologies for different skin treatments. Their prices are low as compared to current market selling price of other brands selling same range of products. Another best part about The Ordinary is that their products do not contain any harmful chemicals like parabens, sulphates, formaldehyde, mercury, etc.

The Ordinary Skincare Haul

As for the haul from The Ordinary, I picked up 8 products and each of it was priced at approximately 10.00 USD or less. Below are few pictures of my haul and a small description of each product.

Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA: This is an oil free moisturizing cream which keeps the outer layer of the skin hydrated and protected. It is said that this product consists of 11 different amino acids.

Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%: This is a water-free, oil-free, alcohol-free, silicone-free product consisting of pure form of Vitamin C which is an effective antioxidant which has proven to help reverse the signs of ageing while brightening the skin. The other thing I liked about this product is that it comes with Hyaluronic Acid which helps in smoothing the skin surface.

Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion: This product uses the next generation retinoid active technologies which help in reducing the signs of aging effectively along with improving the skin texture without causing any kind of irritation.

Salicylic Acid 2% Solution: This one is a 2% solution that helps exfoliating the skin and reducing the appearance of pores and blemishes.

Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%: This formula contains resveratrol and ferulic acid which are very powerful antioxidants for skin. This again is a water-free, oil-free, alcohol-free, silicone-free product.

100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil: Rose Hip Seed oil is rich in Vitamin A, linoleic acid and linolenic acid which helps in depigmentation and reducing the signs of photo-ageing.

100% Plant-Derived Squalane: Squalane is a naturally found in skin which is a stable hydrocarbon and is used to make the skin soft and supple. This can also be used on hair to impart shine and reduce breakage.

100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil: This has been referred to as a luxury oil by different brands. It mainly helps in skin hydration and skin toning.

So this was my haul from The Ordinary, I wanted to pick few more products but I will be first trying these to check if they actually work as per their claims. Hope you all loved my post and stay tuned for more gorgeous stuff!!.
